The steroid hormone, known as testosterone, is often perceived by men as the secret of their masculinity. For men, testosterone is the reason for their manhood. Are they right? Testosterone actually helps to play on typical male characteristics, such as hairiness, muscularity, deep voice and … sperm production.
More testosterone means more sperm?
All sperm production starts in your brain. Who said men thought with their penis? When the hypothalamus detects that a man has a need for testosterone, he secretes a hormone called gonadotropin. The gonadotropin will join the pituitary gland, also called the pituitary gland, located at the back of the brain.
Everything starts in the brain
When the pituitary gland detects gonadotropin, it produces two other hormones: follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). It is these hormones that will spread in the blood and join the gonads.
Testes produce sperm and testosterone
Once the FSH and LH have reached the testicles, a message is transmitted. FSH tells the testes that they must produce sperm. While LH stimulates Leydig cells, or interstitial cells that create testosterone.
Testosterone and sperm are not always related
We note that the manufacture of testosterone and sperm are intimately linked. In reality, your testicles produce both, and your testicles normally receive the “message” of making them at the same time. However, low testosterone levels do not necessarily predict low fertility. But, it is true that often it goes all the same. If, for example, there is a slight malfunction in the testicles, which prevents the production of healthy spermatozoa, that is not why the testicles have a problem for the production of testosterone.
If you are looking to increase your sperm production, we advise you to consider buying Semenax, which is a natural product that is designed to boost the volume of production.
If you want to improve the taste of your semen, we tried SemEnhance that gives a fruity taste to semen.
